Poker Aces – how to bet them

Poker Aces refers to two aces dealt pre-flop. It’s the best possible before theflop hand inhold’em Poker. But despite this a great many players end up on the wrong end when dealt these cards.

When you are given a pair of Aces, you just don’t drop out before theflop. You are sitting with the best possible hand at this stage of the game. So how do you wager with Poker Aces ? Do you actually go all-in? I would say definitely no to that.

Always remember, you’re trying to earn as much profit from this strong position. You need to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will merely drive most gamblers into dropping out before making a wager.

If you are in the starting seat (first or 2nd to wager), you will make a single wager. Anybody with good cards will call, with luck someone will raise. If someone has made a raise don’t jump to re-raise or call, wait for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

Following the flop your strategy will be to get rid of anybody that might be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise aggressively, if you’re fortunate you’ll trick 1 player into thinking that you are tricking.

If you’re in the center or late spot (near the last to place a wager) you’ll watch as everybody calls and then raise. Even with you sitting with a pair of aces, if you can try to abstain from a show-down. Protect your hand by making others to drop out after the flop. If you do not force out your competition you risk squandering your hand.
