Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the wild west in a fantastic game for early level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the croupier, unlike the majority of other poker games that players compete with other players. By playing against the dealer, new players don’t need to fret about any other, more advanced players taking their money.
Another Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game play, rookies will be able to take their time and plan while not having to make hasty selections.
It is also simpler to play for an extended time with basically a small bit of cash after all, to not win, each of your hands has to be under each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the house is given 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand have to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the casino’s.
