Have you observed the new PokerPro texas holdem poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about a couple of weeks ago when I took a brief holiday with my parents to the WinStar Gambling den in Oklahoma.

As I anxiously waited for my name to be acknowledged at the live tables, I noticed how the other men and women at the PokerPro tables interacted with each other. It was quite fascinating to say the least. Since the poker table was controlled by a computer, there have been no clay poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the actual live experience was stale. Perhaps I was the only one that discovered this, except I did notice the gamblers in the table had a dull quality to them. The reason behind this may possibly be since there was no human interaction with the dealer, the atmosphere was rather boring and the players looked tired. It was almost as if I was looking at a live version of a web based texas hold’em poker room rather than being seated with hot bodied humans. It was a tiny bit freaky and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of Star trek and the holodeck malfunctioned.
