Taking an Intoxicated Mans’ Cash at a NL Texas Hold em Poker Table

I’m sure just about anyone who has bet hold’em poker in the place where they serve alcohol has had this experience at one time or another. Everyone at the table was truly great with the exception for Mr. I am all in simply because I am drunk. He had such a bad frame of mind and I felt like I was online betting in a freeroll for a moment simply because he would just keep going all in. He would from time to time just call a bet. Every single time he would just call, I recognized he had a nasty hand.

So, when it was my turn to call, I would raise with my very good pocket pairs or my ace some thing. Every time he stayed in the hand all the way to the river and then try to bluff. It was nearly as if he needed to give away his chips.

I bet at that specific table for at least 3 hours and I counted at least four times the man went to the Automatic Teller Machine and returned with at least $200 in chips. I would say I likely got a minimum of half of what he delivered to the table.

The next day, after I got house and added up my profits, I kind of felt terrible for winning all that money. Except then again, that man shouldn’t have been wagering texas hold em poker though he was drunk!

Some people might say that if I have to question my behavior, then sure, it likely was not the proper thing to do. But, do I really feel negative about it, not actually.

My opinion on taking a drunken person’s cash at the poker table is that if they’re dumb adequate to bet on even though intoxicated and is being careless, then go for it!
