Amateurs Schemes for Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a wonderful game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the house, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players do not have to be concerned about other, more skillful gamblers winning their money.
One more Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game play, rookies should be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make quick decisions.
It is also much simpler to play for an extended time with only a little amount of cash since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the house gets seven cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
