Online poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with 21 than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the house rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the dealer announcing "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course all of the other players acquire 5 cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is equal to your original bet, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with a sum on par with the initial bet. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The bank pays out money even with your original bet and set odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
