Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the wild west in a great game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the house, not like nearly all other poker games that players compete with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not have to be concerned about other, more knowledgeable people taking their moolla.
Another Pai Gow advantage is the fairly leisurely game play, beginners should be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make quick decisions.
It’s also simpler to bet on for a long time with just a tiny bit of money after all, to not win, each of your hands has to be under each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the croupier receives seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
